Leave a Voice Mail

I call my son’s dad’s phone and leave a voice mail for my son for later. Because we are on separate schedules, it’s nice for him to hear my voice even when we might not be able to talk. His dad does the same thing for me. If my son calls and I’m not around, his dad will have him leave a message.
